Q:
Tell me more about NO LATE FEES
DVDango
Online allows you to keep your rentals as long as you like.
Remember, there are NO due dates and NO late fees. When you do return
your rentals please slip them into their rental sleeve and insert the
rental into the pre-paid mailer. Then just drop into any mailbox and
you're done. We will ship your next selection(s) the same day we
receive your returns.
Q:
How do I choose the movies that I want?
After
joining you may select DVDs by studio, category, or title. Once you
find an item you would like to rent click the "RENT" button
to add it to your rental list queue. You may add as many items as you
like. You'll always want to keep your list full (we recommend 10-15
DVDs) so we can quickly ship your next available pick. We will keep
shipping DVDs until you have reached your maximum allowed according
to your rental plan.
Q:
What about availability of movies?
When
a title you want is out on rental you can and should still place the
title on your rental list. We stock multiple quantities of our titles
and should have the item back in stock shortly. If you are having
difficulty renting a particular title please notify customer service
and we will take care of the problem immediately. Also if there is a
title you want to rent but it is not listed on the site please notify
customer service.
Q:
How long does it take to receive my selections?
This
depends on the stock availability of the DVD. We take great pride in
our huge stock of films. Most rentals are sent out the same day. (We
actually ship out twice a day.) The average time it takes for you to
receive your DVD's is 1-5 days. If you live in the Portland, Oregon
Metro Area it will take 1-2 days.
Q:
It has been 6 days and still no delivery. What's going on?
If
you ordered a rental or returned a disc and it has been 6 full
business days and you have not received your rental or confirmation
of your return then please contact customer service so we can amend
the situation.
Q:
I returned my personal disc. What should I do?
If
you returned your own personal disc accidentally, you should notify
DVDango Online customer service immediately. Please include all
details (title of DVD, date shipped back, your name & tel. #). We
will return your personal DVD along with a return envelope for the
rental disc.
Q:
I lost my return mailer. How do I send the rentals back?
You
can use any other envelope to return your rentals as long as the
disc is protected. Use the original rental sleeves if you have them.

Q:
I returned my rentals but forgot to put them in their rental sleeves?
We
will be able to check them in but it will probably take some
additional time. It is important to return the discs in their
original rental sleeves to ensure proper and timely credit.
Q:
The disc I received is defective. What should I do?
Notify
customer service immediately so we can send you out a replacement
rental. Please send the disc back immediately.
Q:
The disc I rented won't play.
We
clean all disks as they need it but it is possible that your disk
needs a bit more TLC. Try cleaning the disc with a soft cloth using a
gentle, brushing motion. If the disk still won't play, it could be a
faulty disk or a compatibility issue. Please ask Customer Support for advice.
Q:
How do I Set an Age Limit or Parental controls on my account?
Because
all DVDango Online customers must be over 18 to join, we do not use
any parental controls for your account. It is up to the

Occasionally
we will select several of our favorite movies to be sent out at the
same time. Using this feature allows you to get even more great movies!

Who pays the postage?
We
send all DVDs out first-class in fully-paid envelopes, and we supply
pre-paid, first class, addressed envelopes in which to return your DVDs.
Q:
What happens if a DVD is lost in the mail?
If
you suspect a disc is lost in the mail, please contact Customer
Support and let us know about it. We're aware that a disc may
occasionally be lost in the mail through no fault of your own. So, if
this does happen you'll be sent a replacement disc. However, if it
becomes obvious that the postal service in your area is unreliable,
we reserve the right to cancel your membership and we also reserve
the right to bill you for unreturned rentals.
Q:
I returned a DVD but according to my queue history, DVDango Online
hasn't received it.
Except
in cases where there's an obvious delay to the postal system, it's
possible the DVD has been lost in the mail. Please let customer
Support know.
Q:
I've lost a DVD disc. What do I do?
Unfortunately
we'll need to charge you for the disc. Please let Customer Support
know. Remember, we can't send out your next choice until we resolve
this, so it's best to get it over with!

Q:
I have damaged a DVD. What do I do?
Unfortunately
we'll need to charge you for the disc. Please let Customer Support
know. Remember, we can't send out your next choice until we resolve
this, so best to get it over with!
Q:
Do you ship to my country?
Sorry,
we only rent to USA addresses.
Q:
How can I suggest a new DVD title for you to carry?
We
always welcome suggestions - let Customer Support know.
Q:
Can I purchase your used DVDs?
Sorry.
We don't currently offer our old stock of DVDs for direct sale to
our members.
Q:
Does DVDango buy used DVDs?
Yes!
Contact Customer Support and we can negotiate a price if we want
your used discs. Don't expect to get rich, though... Our
manager is pretty tight with the pennies...
Q:
Why are some titles not available on DVD?
The
decision to release a specific movie on DVD is solely in the hands
of the movie studio. However, if a film is available on DVD and we
don't seem to stock it, we'd be happy to take your suggestions -
please contact Customer Support.
Q:
Why should I rate and review movies?
When
you rate or review a movie, everybody wins. Other members can see
how good a movie is and benefit from your film knowledge. We get to
understand what movies you like, and you get recommendations from us
tailored to your tastes!
Q:
The status of a DVD in my queue history is "Queued", or
"Sent" or "Received". What does this mean?
A
movie that is "Queued" is on your list waiting for us to
send it to you. "Sent" means we have shipped it to you
already. You can have three movies in the "Sent"
status at any one time. A "Sent" movie's status will
change to "Received" after you've mailed it back to us and
we've input that data into our data base. As soon as we get a
"Received" DVD we ship out the next available DVD from your
"Queued" list.
Q:
Why did the release date of a certain DVD change?
From
time to time, despite the best planning, the movie studios need to
delay the release of an already announced movie. This can be for any
number of reasons, and is unfortunately outside of our control.
Q:
If I tell a friend about DVDango Online, do I get anything in return?
